The SEDONA ICE SERIES is a compilation of years of photographs taken by Sedona artist, Claudia L. Cooke. While the town sleeps, the temperatures dip below freezing long enough for ice to form along gullies and Oak Creek Canyon.
Patience and a discerning eye for flow and form yields this enticing and at times compilation of photography. These rapidly melting views of nature with perhaps an added crystal heart and gentle touches of color, reflect the earth's balance and energy flow.
Then Claudia breathes life into them by printing these magical images on metal which shimmers and changes as the light plays across them.
